More work on the Power Cabinet
Work is back on again on the power cabinet and to date most of the basics are done. All that is left to do is to make and fit the door and fit guttering and trim. It looks a bit bigger than I imagined but that is determined by the size of the water cylinder.
Another day of working on it and it should be done.
Another job I’ve been working on is the low wall at the front of the verandah. I’ve dug the footings out and next have to box it up so I can pour the concrete. That was hard work!
I’ve just put the first “A Bloke Could Do It” recipe on the site and this is for my home grown pickled beetroot. If you like beetroot then have a go at this as it’s really easy to do. All you need is beetroot, cheap white vinegar and sugar. It’s not complicated at all.
Last week I was given a Mashed Potato Loaf to try and oh boy was it nice. I was given the recipe with it so I’m going to make one. It looks pretty easy and hopefully will turn into the next “A Bloke Could Do It” recipe. It was that nice we ate the whole loaf in one sitting Yum!
I’m also a great believer in natural remedies and over the past couple of days have been making Colloidal Silver Water and today I made some into gel to use as an ointment. If you don’t know about Colloidal Silver Water then you are missing out big time. It’s a natural bacteria, virus and fungi killer and really works a treat. I first tried it on a cold sore on my lower lip a couple of years ago. I put it on before I went to bed and in the morning it was dead! I was won over immediately.
More soon
